Terms and Conditions of Stay – Casa Doña Blanca

Welcome to Casa Doña Blanca in Ciudad Quesada, Costa Blanca!
Please take a moment to review the house rules, designed to ensure a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable stay.

1. Reservations and Payments

  1. Reservations can be made via www.casadonablanca.es, where you will find the booking calendar and online payment system (Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, and credit/debit cards).
  2. The minimum stay is 2 nights.
  3. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. We do not accept deposits. Last-minute bookings are possible.
  4. Cancellation and changes:
    1. Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking are eligible for a full refund.
    2. After this period, cancellations are non-refundable; however, you may reschedule your stay (subject to availability and applicable rates).
  5. The person making the booking must be at least 21 years old and assumes full responsibility for all guests in the booking.

2. Check-in and Check-out

  1. Check-in: from 3:00 PM.
  2. Check-out: by 11:00 AM.
  3. Check-in and check-out are conducted in person – the property manager will welcome you, hand over the keys, provide information, and answer questions.
  4. A refundable cash security deposit of EUR 200 is collected upon arrival and returned on departure, subject to inspection of the apartment.
  5. Guest registration: All guests must present a valid ID (passport or national ID card) at check-in. Guest details are submitted to the Guardia Civil in compliance with Spanish law.

3. House Rules

  1. Maximum occupancy: 4 guests (including children).
  2. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment.
  3. Only small dogs (up to 10 kg) are allowed, subject to prior approval. Pets are not permitted on upholstered furniture or in pool areas.
  4. Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
  5. Parties, loud gatherings, and unregistered visitors are strictly forbidden.
  6. In case of serious violation of these rules, the owner reserves the right to terminate the stay immediately without refund.

4. Keys and Security

  1. Guests will receive 2 sets of keys and a remote control for the gate.
  2. Lost keys or remote controls will incur a replacement fee (covering lock/remote replacement costs).
  3. The apartment is equipped with a security system including a camera, which remains deactivated during your stay.
    1. Upon request, the system may be activated during guest absence – an activation code will then be provided.
  4. Please ensure all windows, shutters, and doors are closed when leaving the apartment.

5. Pools and Communal Areas

  1. Guests must follow the pool regulations displayed on-site.
  2. Key rules: mandatory shower before entering, no glass or crockery in pool areas, no tanning oils in the water, no pets allowed.
  3. Children may use the pools only under adult supervision.

6. Barbecue and Solarium

  1. The barbecue may only be used in the designated terrace area.
  2. After use, ensure that fire and embers are completely extinguished and that the grill is cleaned.
  3. Use of the barbecue is prohibited on windy days.

7. Air Conditioning and Utilities

  1. Keep windows and terrace doors closed when the air conditioning is in use.
  2. Please switch off air conditioning and lights when leaving the apartment.
  3. Use electricity and water responsibly, with care for the environment.
  4. The use of high-power appliances (e.g., portable heaters, industrial kettles) is prohibited without prior owner approval.

7A. Equipment and Amenities

  1. The apartment is fully equipped with household appliances: refrigerator, hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, and hairdryer.
  2. A smart TV with internet access is available for guest use.
  3. Beach accessories are provided: umbrella, sun loungers, beach towels, and portable cooler.
  4. Guests must immediately report any damages, malfunctions, or missing items for repair or replacement.

8. Laundry

  1. A separate laundry room is available on the upper terrace (solarium), equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
  2. Please follow operating instructions and leave the appliances clean after use.
  3. Indoor drying is not permitted – please use the dryer or drying rack on the terrace.

9. Cleaning and Waste Disposal

  1. Rubbish should be regularly disposed of in the designated outdoor bins.
  2. Before departure, the apartment should be left in a generally tidy condition.

10. Parking

  1. Guests are provided with a parking space.
  2. The owner accepts no liability for vehicles or their contents.

11. Data Protection

  1. The data controller is the owner of Casa Doña Blanca.
  2. Personal data is processed solely for reservation, registration, and contact purposes.
  3. Data may only be shared with authorised authorities, e.g., Guardia Civil, as required by law.
  4. Data provided to the Guardia Civil includes only information required by law (e.g., name, surname, ID number, dates of stay).
  5. Data processing is compliant with GDPR regulations.

12. Liability and Force Majeure

  1. The owner is not responsible for the loss or damage of guests’ belongings – travel insurance is recommended.
  2. Guests are fully responsible for any damage caused to the apartment during their stay.
  3. In case of unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters, utility outages, government orders), reservations may be rescheduled to another date.

13. Governing Law

  1. Matters not covered by these Terms are subject to Spanish law applicable in the Comunidad Valenciana.
  2. Any disputes shall be settled by the competent court for the jurisdiction where the apartment is located.
  3. The property is fully licensed as a tourist rental in Comunidad Valenciana. Tourist License: VT-513022-A.
    Rental is conducted in accordance with Spanish national and local laws.
